Martial Arts Hall of Fame Inductee - Eric Reeve
(As published in the Lake Sun Leader)

Today April 23, 2008 it was announced by the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame that martial arts instructor Eric Reeve of Macks Creek, Missouri has been selected as an inductee into the prestigious hall of fame. Eric Reeve is the head instructor of the Macks Creek Academy of Martial Arts in the small community of Branch, just outside of Macks Creek, Missouri. Instructor Reeve has been teaching martial arts for over thirty years and has been operating his current school in Macks Creek for the last six years.

The small school operates out of the Branch Assembly of God Church gymnasium where Reeve donates his time teaching between fifteen to thirty rural children and young adults. The martial art school charges students five dollars per lesson (although Reeve states that no child under the age of sixteen is ever turned away for their inability to pay their lessons) which Reeve donates to the church for the use of their facilities.

Instructor Reeve studied under the world famous martial artist/self defense trainer Mr. Bruce Siddle. The school teaches students the Chinese Martial Art of Chuan Fa which was developed by Mr. Siddle in the middle seventies. Eric Reeve was one of Bruce Siddle's original students, a former kick boxer and has been teaching students successfully for nearly 30 years. Reeve will be officially inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Nashville Tennessee on August 3, 2008 at their annual black tie ceremonies.
